OXS started out as a small mechanics company out in California in the 1920s, they mostly made typewriters and toasters before moving onto more technical machines like early computers, partnering with IBM to create many machines to aid NASA during the space race, most infamously making the parts for Nasa's Apollo 13 which unfortunately exploded above the moon's surface. After this disaster the many employees that were stationed in Florida were sent to more background roles. The higherups in OXS back in California were absolutely outraged including their CEO Liam H. Bagwell, who in 1971 cut all funding to the Flordia branch, forcing them to find ulterior ways to make profits shady or clean, resulting in a scandal involving the CEO of MicromSoft's mysterious death in 1979 that remains still unsolved till this day. In the '80s while America was falling apart, The OXS Florida branch took "revenge" on NASA and their Cape Canaveral location with a hostile takeover, since then Ryan Jobs up an coming tech mogul has ruled Cape Canaveral and its surrounding areas.
